Deep solid black with a fine scatter of metallic flecks that catch the light as you move past. There is no veining and the pattern is uniform edge to edge.
A grounding surface against pale cabinetry, and an easy one to seam because there is no pattern to align. Worth knowing that any polished black shows dust and fingerprints more readily than a lighter slab.
