Why Toronto Homeowners Choose TF Renovations

Renovating in Toronto has constraints that suburban projects don't — service elevator bookings, condo board approvals, narrow lanes, tight parking, and older homes where nothing is quite square. We plan around them instead of discovering them on day one.

One team, materials and installation — Buy tiles, flooring, vanities, countertops and fixtures from us, and have our licensed installers fit them. One point of contact when something needs sorting out.

Built for condo projects — Pre-assembled vanities and cabinets mean less cutting and assembly on site: less noise, less debris, fewer days in the service corridor, and a smaller footprint in your unit.

Scheduled delivery from Mississauga — Our warehouse is a short drive west of the city, so materials arrive on your date rather than sitting in your living room for three weeks. We coordinate with elevator bookings and loading dock windows.

Accurate quantities before you buy — We measure and calculate materials up front, so you're not short two boxes of tile mid-install or paying for surplus you don't need.

Free consultation and a written quote — We'll walk the space, talk through materials and budget, and put it in writing before any commitment. Serving downtown, midtown, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York and surrounding Toronto neighbourhoods.

Bathroom Renovations & Custom Showers in Toronto

Powder rooms, family bathrooms and primary ensuites across Toronto — full renovations with materials and licensed installation from a single team. We supply freestanding and wall-mounted vanities, solid-surface sinks, large-format porcelain tile, waterproof flooring and custom shower surrounds, including glass shower and tub doors fitted to the opening. In older Toronto homes we account for what's behind the walls — original plumbing runs, uneven floors, limited ventilation — and we handle the waterproofing properly, because that's the part you can't see and can't easily redo. Condo Renovations in Toronto

Toronto condo renovations demand precision in tight spaces and cooperation with building rules. We handle compact kitchens, ensuite and guest bathrooms, and full-unit flooring for buildings across downtown, midtown and the waterfront. Pre-assembled vanities and cabinets arrive ready to install, which means fewer delivery trips, less on-site cutting, and less time occupying the> service elevator — the part condo boards care about most. We supply large-format porcelain tile, waterproof vinyl plank and engineered hardwood suited to concrete subfloors and building sound-transmission requirements, and we coordinate delivery windows with your property manager. Backsplash & Tile Installation in Vaughan

Serving Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Maple, Thornhill, and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

We supply and install porcelain, marble-look, and mosaic backsplash tile for kitchens and bathrooms across Vaughan. One team handles material selection, delivery and installation, so there is no gap between the supplier and the installer to fall through. Quartz countertops are the most common pairing — most customers do the backsplash at the same time as a new counter.

What the job involves

  1. Measurement and tile selection. Wall area measured, tile quantity calculated with a waste allowance, tile chosen from in-stock porcelain, mosaic, or slab.
  2. Old backsplash removal, where there is one.
  3. Surface prep. Wall cleaned and patched; backer board installed where required.
  4. Layout and dry-fit. Tile laid out dry so cuts around outlets, windows and corners are planned before anything is set.
  5. Setting. Tile set with adhesive suited to the material and the substrate.
  6. Grouting and caulking. Grout applied and sealed; caulk at the countertop line and inside corners.
  7. Final cleanup.

A standard kitchen backsplash — 25 to 35 sq ft in a simple pattern — is a one-day job once materials are on site. Herringbone, mosaic and other complex patterns take two.

Tile prices

We supply the tile ourselves, so a quote separates cleanly into material and labour. These are our current prices per square foot:

Tile type Price per sq ft Typical use
Porcelain $4.99 – $9.99 The usual choice for backsplashes and floors — hard-wearing and easy to clean
Mosaic $15.98 – $16.99 Feature strips and full backsplashes where you want pattern and texture
Large-format slab $49.99 Full-height backsplashes with minimal grout lines

What a backsplash costs installed

Scope Typical installed cost
Small backsplash (10–20 sq ft) $500 – $1,200
Standard kitchen backsplash (25–35 sq ft) $900 – $1,800
Full-height or statement backsplash (40+ sq ft) $1,800 – $3,500+

Roughly $25–$50 per square foot installed, tile and labour together. Natural stone, glass and mosaic patterns sit at the higher end.

What moves the price:

  • Tile material. Porcelain and ceramic are the most economical; natural stone and glass cost more.
  • Pattern complexity. Herringbone, diagonal and mosaic sheets take longer to set than straight-set or subway.
  • Removing an old backsplash, if there is one.
  • Number of cutouts — outlets, switches, windows, range hood.
  • Wall condition. Damage found during prep may need patching first.

Backsplash questions we get asked

How much does a kitchen backsplash cost in Vaughan?
Most standard kitchen backsplashes land between $900 and $1,800 installed, covering 25 to 35 square feet. Tile choice and pattern move that more than anything else — porcelain from $4.99/sq ft keeps a project at the lower end, mosaic at around $16/sq ft pushes it up.

How long does backsplash installation take?
One day for a standard kitchen in a simple pattern, once the tile is on site. Two days for herringbone, mosaic, or full-height work. Grout needs to cure before the surface is used normally.

Do you remove the old backsplash?
Yes. Removal and any wall patching it exposes are quoted as part of the job rather than added afterwards.

Can you do the backsplash and countertop together?
That is the most common way we do it. Countertops are templated after cabinets go in, and the backsplash follows the counter — doing both together means one team, one schedule, and a tile choice made against the actual counter rather than a sample.

Do you serve all of Vaughan?
Yes — Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Maple, Thornhill and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, from our Mississauga warehouse. Delivery is free within 100 km.
